INTRODUCTION
Human Standard Assessor (HSA) Application
Human Standard Assessors play a critical role in the Human Standard™ verification process.
Each Assessor completes a full read of assigned works and evaluates authorship characteristics under a structured framework that integrates:
- creator disclosure
- AI-assisted screening
- human judgment
Assessments are captured through a required post-read survey, which forms part of the certification process.
Role Expectations
- Each assignment requires a complete, start-to-finish read of the work
- Assessments must be based on independent human judgment
- Use of AI tools to screen, summarize, or analyze the book content is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the HSA pool
- Assessors are expected to provide clear, structured, and objective input
Assignment Model
- Books are posted as opportunities within your selected genre(s)
- Each opportunity includes:
- Genre classification
- Approximate length (word or page count)
- Assessor fee
- Deadline for survey completion
- Assignments are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
- Only one active book may be under review at a time per Assessor
